I was recently contacted about a wonderful opportunity to write a crochet pattern for Stitch and Unwind. This was a big thing for me. With this being my first time ever being given an opportunity to do something like this, I was both excited and nervous! Was this really happening to me?! I am grateful. I am overwhelmed with joy! Of course I said Yes!
I was thrilled~ So I started on this blanket right away. I even ran out of yarn and had to order more. I was so terrified the yarn would be delayed because of the snowy weather we were having. My children had 3 snow days in a row! I was worried I wouldn't complete it in time, and I started working on another idea. I was relieved when my yarn order came in. I sat down as soon as I could and got right back to work. My knees were kept toasty warm as I finished it.
This blanket was made for a baby. Measuring at approximately 30 X 38 inches in size, however my 6 year old tells me that it is perfect for her. She sleeps with it every night.
